Former Glens Falls Golden Eagle Kevin Mahoney ('07) is listed in PGCrosschecker.com's latest "Summer 10" rankings. The list, which includes 20 players this week, ranks the top players competing in summer collegiate baseball leagues across the country. Members of Team USA are also included on the list.

Mahoney, an infielder for the Coastal Plain League's Forest City Owls, is ranked 17th out of 20 players. Mahoney leads the Coastal Plain League with 12 home runs, 43 runs scored and 43 runs batted in. Through 50 games, Mahoney is batting .409 with 62 hits, 14 doubles, 27 walks, a .586 slugging percentage and a .438 on-base percentage. The former Glens Falls Golden Eagle played in the Coastal Plain League All-Star Game on July 22. He started at third base and was one of four all-stars to play in the entire game.

The Miller Place, N.Y., native was named first-team All-NYCBL last summer. He led the league with seven home runs and 44 runs batted in. Mahoney's Glens Falls Golden Eagles won the Eastern Division regular-season title with a 34-6 record and advanced to the NYCBL Championship Series.
